Lisa Everard, a 35-year-old wife has been exposed as a bigamist.
The woman was exposed when her horrified hubby stumbled across pictures of her marrying her secret lover on Facebook.
Daily Star UK reports that Lisa Everard was legally married to husband Elliott when she tied the knot with her new man.
When Elliott, 38, found the pictures of her in a white wedding gown on her Facebook she lied and pretended she was just a bridesmaid.
But he became suspicious and checked the marriage records at the registry office when he discovered the shocking truth.
Cardiff Crown Court heard his wife had illegally married her secret lover Michael Hughes.
Prosecutor Mark Battrick said: "Mr Everard was devastated. He was distraught at what he had seen. He described feeling numb and said his world had turned upside down."
Elliott
After being caught out Everard then confessed to her bigamy – and left their large country home to move into a terraced former council house with Mr Hughes.
Peter Donnison, defending, said Everard had no previous convictions and said her new husband Mr Hughes is sticking by her.
Judge Philip Harris-Jenkins said the impact on Elliott was financial as well as emotional after he was left to provide of their two kids.
"You should have bore all of that in mind before you acted in the selfish way that you did," he told her. "This was not an act of naivety. This was a deception."
Everard, of Chepstow, Gwent, was spared prison after pleading guilty to one count of bigamy.
Instead she'll have to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
After walking free, she said: "I have been through enough now. This has been unbelievable stressful and tough on me and my kids."
