Late Dr. Stella Adadevoh has been named the recipient of a posthumous life-time achievement award by the organisers of the Amity Awards.
The sponsors said it was in recognition of her selfless services to humanity and ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
A statement signed by the CEO of the Centre for Intervention Development and Leadership, who initiated the awards, Mr. Solomon Alao, said the maiden Amity Awards holding on October 22 in Lagos was aimed at recognising and celebrating heroes who exhibited the highest levels of professionalism.
“The awards are to elicit pride and reinforce good behaviour,” Alao said.
Other corporate bodies to be recognised for their contribution towards the development of facilities in LUTH at the ceremony on October 22 include Guinness Nig PLC, Nigeria Breweries PLC, Chevron Nigeria, the National Sovereign Investment Agency and the Lions Club District 404A.
The LUTH awardees include the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chris Bode; Mrs. Moji Oderinde and Dr. Amadi.
