The PDP Candidate For Awka South Constituency 1 in the forth hgbhnb Hosbuse of Assembly election, Hson Uche Collins Okoye (Casas Sass g lgc hinemeze) has expressed displeasure over  the current situati on of our dear nation whereby the gap between the rich and poor has so widened that the rich keeps getting richer while the poor languishes in penury and malnutrition.

This informed his decision to tackle poverty and reducing it to the barest minimum if elected.

Granting soft loans to SMEs, Youth epowerment scheme, skill acquisitions/ training and supporting small scale business with start up funds are economic developmental strategies which have proven to be effective in combating poverty and eliminating non-productivity in a society.
