Owen Hargreaves: Victor Osimhen is the next £100 million play

Owen Hargreaves, a former midfielder for Manchester United, thinks Victor Osimhen could become one of the best players in the world one day.

The Nigerian striker scored in eight straight games as Napoli crushed Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

After scoring 20 goals in 24 games, Osimhen was again the centre of attention among former players and commentators, who couldn’t stop praising the striker.

Hargreaves says in the Super Sports Studio, “I think he’s next in line, and if you are his agent, those numbers are important because he’s the next 100 million-pound player.

“You probably think Manchester United, Chelsea and a lot of team will be desperate to have this guy.”

The former Bayern Munich player says the striker would be a great fit for big Premier League teams like Chelsea and Manchester United.

“He has everything, the size, speed and strength. 19 goals in 23 games, the numbers are top top numbers. Any manager will be desperate to have him because he gives everything.

“I think he’s very unique because of his size, and I think he’s the type of guy we all don’t want to play against because of his size and strength, and his numbers are elite,

Hargreaves thinks he is one of the best players in Europe because of how well he has played this season.

“Haaland has them, Lewandoski has them, and that’s why you are going to looking at him if you need a centre forward,” he concluded.
