Yesterday concluded the group stage of the European Championships.
In Group E, all four nations were locked on three points. Belgium disappointed, with Romelu Lukaku missing a clear chance set up by Kevin de Bruyne against Ukraine. Slovakia and Romania drew 1-1, with Ondrej Duda scoring first and Razvan Marin equalizing from a penalty. Despite all teams ending on four points, Ukraine finished bottom.
In the final group, Portugal rested key players but faced a determined Georgia. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Georges Mikautadze scored for Georgia. The match between Turkiye and Czechia featured numerous goals and a record 18 cards, including two red cards for Czechia.
