The protests were scheduled nationwide for the citizens to express their displeasure over the current state of nation.
On Wednesday, a significant number of Nigerians, including many youths, took to the main thoroughfares of Lagos State to demonstrate against the prevailing economic challenges attributed to the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
In several pictures and videos seen on X, SaharaReporters observed that the demonstrators carried different placards calling for immediate reversal of some policies implemented by Tinubu.
One of the protesters and a social activist, Francis Nwapa wrote: “We called for it and we are on the street in Ikeja under bridge. The tyrannical and oppressive government of @officialABAT must be shown the way out. We are hungry and angry.
