South Korea to pile $74.6 BN into AI chips
South Korean chipmaking giant SK Hynix has announced it will invest the whopping sum - far outstripping the government's $19 billion fund to boost chipmaking business earlier this year - into producing semiconductor chips though 2028.
Hynex said they are also planning to secure $57 billion to invest in AI as the conglomerate group's losses last year.
