Anambra NYSC Coordinator bags Ojukwu varsity LAWSA award
Anambra State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Ekene Iruma has been conferred with the Award of Recognition by Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University’s Law Students’ Association Igbariam.
The award presented by Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Nwakoby , Law Faculty Staff Adviser and Comrade Frank Ezeme, the LAWSA COOU President was given to acknowledge Iruma’s invaluable support and assistance towards affairs of the association and the school community as a whole.
Delivering a keynote address as Guest Speaker, Iruma emphasized the importance of living by the values of excellence, integrity and professionalism.
She explained that true excellence is not only measured by academic qualifications but also by one’s character.
Iruma expressed her delight and gratitude for being recognized by LAWSA COOU, just as she thanked the organizers for considering her worthy of such an honour.
Dean of Faculty of Law, COOU Prof. E.Q Okolie expressed his appreciation for Mrs. Iruma’s priceless contributions to the society.
He noted that the award was a testament to her dedication and commitment to the growth and development of the law students’ association and the wider school community.
