Disquiet In Nnewi Community Over Ifeanyi Ubah’s Death
Anguish, despair and disquiet have enveloped Nnewi community because Ubah is one of the illustrious sons of the community and indeed, Anambra State.
Following the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the Nnewi community in Anambra State has been thrown into deep anguish, The Nation reports.

Anguish, despair and disquiet have enveloped Nnewi community because Ubah is one of the illustrious sons of the community and indeed, Anambra State.
One of the top politicians from the area said: “My good brother, no Nnewi person will talk about such a thing now, but we are in pains.
“Ifeanyi Ubah had a large heart and did a lot of things in our place and Anambra as a whole. He used his position to help a lot of people both in this state and out side.Many people will miss him.
“Being Ebubechukwuzo Nnewi, his traditional title, it will be difficult for any Nnewi person to announce his death in such manner. The palace of Obi Nnewi will be involved.”
Ubah was a contestant of the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Anambra 2025 while many groups and associations had endorsed him.
He defected to the APC from the Young Progressives Party (YPP). He was 53.
