Russia slams 'tedious farce' of electoral lies from Sunak's Tories
Even British people have grown weary of the Conservative Party’s insinuations that Russia intends to interfere in the UK general election on July 4, the embassy in London said in a statement.
The claims, which Moscow "categorically" denies, “vividly illustrate the crisis of ideas that has engulfed the Tories as they arrive at the end of their tenure in power,” it stated.
“We are under no illusion: regardless of which major British party comes to power, the confrontational line against Russia, orchestrated behind the scenes with Washington's blessing, will be continued,” it concluded.
