Senator Ifeanyi Ubah: President Tinubu Mourns
President Bola Tinubu has sent his condolences to the family of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who passed away in London in the early hours of Saturday.
In a statement, President Tinubu commiserated with the friends and colleagues of the late senator, the National Assembly, and the government and people of Anambra State over this sad loss.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker and strength and comfort to his family during this difficult time.
According to reports, Ubah passed away in a London hotel on Friday evening, just two days after arriving in the UK due to a health issue.
The 53-year-old senator’s death was reportedly caused by complications related to his recent tummy tuck surgery, which had resulted in significant weight loss.
Until his passing, Ubah was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil.
