Zelensky ‘can’t predict’ Trump if elected
Speaking in Washington at the NATO summit, Ukrainian de facto leader Vladimir Zelensky said he hoped Donald Trump wouldn’t withdraw from the alliance if he wins the US elections.
“I don’t know [him] very well,” Zelensky admitted, despite claiming they had “good meetings” during Trump’s first presidency.
Trump has frequently criticized other NATO members for not pulling their weight, the scale of Washington’s aid to Ukraine, and called Zelensky “the greatest salesman ever” for persuading so much aid for Kiev.
