Police Arrest Masterminds Of Kano Printing Press Attack during Protest
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, disclosed this when he paraded the suspects before newsmen at the command headquarters on Monday, August 12, 2024.
Six persons have been arrested by the Kano State Police Command over the alleged looting and destruction of Kano Printing Press (KPP) during the nationwide protest against hunger.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, disclosed this when he paraded the suspects before newsmen at the command headquarters on Monday, August 12, 2024.
“The command arrested an additional six (6) suspects linked with masterminding the destruction, setting ablaze and looting of the Kano Printing Press (KPP). The suspects are undergoing investigation,” he stated.
Recall that the printing press which was built in 1933 was among government properties destroyed by hoodlums during the hunger violent protest in the state.
