Bolt Gets License to Operate in Anambra State
Anambra state government has issued an operational license to a leading ride-hailing company, Bolt.
The Commissioner for Transport, Mrs. Patricia Igwebuike handed over the license to the company at the Jerome Udorji State Secretariat in Awka.
During the ceremony, Mrs. Igwebuike was accompanied by the representatives of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC; Nigerian Police; Anambra State Road Transport Management Agency, ARTMA; Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade.
Handing over the license, Mrs. Igwebuike revealed that the decision is geared towards making transportation stress free and creating access to all parts of the state.
Responding, the Operations Manager of the company, Peace Adegoke assured that the company is known for providing convenient experiences, affordable and safe transportation for her customers through their wide range of vehicles including motorcycles, tricycles and cars.
The event was also attended by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Chris Molokwu represented by the Director of Legal Services, Barrister Juliet Amasiatu.
