Tinubu Sacks Former Anambra Commissioner 13 Months After Appointment
Thirteen months after she was reappointed for another four years in office as the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, President Bola Tinubu has relieved Dr. Chioma Nnenna Ejikeme of her duties as PTAD Boss.
The President has appointed Miss Tolulope Abiodun Odunaiya as the new Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate.
Tinubu had in October 2023 reappointed Ejikeme as the executive secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) for another four-year term.
Ejikeme had previously handed over the management of PTAD to Mr Sulayman Shelleng, the Director of the Civil Service Pension Department, in September of 2023, when her initial term expired.
Her reappointment to this position then came after her initial appointment by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
She was relieved of the role by President Tinubu on Monday ,18 November, 2024.
Dr Chioma Ejikeme who was a commissioner of health in Anambra State during military regime is the second public Servant fired by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu since he assumed office.
The first appointee who received the president’s sledge hammer was the erstwhile Minister of women affairs, Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye.
