Ganduje Set to Visit Anambra as APC Opens New Office
The National chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje is set to visit Anambra state on Thursday.
While in the state to commission the new APC state Secretariat, opposite government house Awka, Ganduje will also, visit the Obi of Onitsha, Alfred Achebe among others.
Recall that the Obi of Onitsha and the Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo have not been in good terms since the Governor dissolved the traditional ruler’s council in the state, headed by Achebe
Achebe has not been quiet on the insecurity ravaging the state under the leadership of Soludo and his criticism of the governor’s disregard on traditional institution in the state.
The loggerhead, it was learnt, made Soludo to shun the 2024 Ofala festival of the Obi of Onitsha some weeks ago
The new APC state Secretariat, was procured for the party by one of the top contenders for the party’s governorship ticket, Sir Paul Chukwuma.
According to the message of Ganduje’s visit, which was signed by the state chairman of the party, Sir Basil Ejidike and the Secretary, Chidi Oji, said it would be a one-day visit
Though, some of the APC stakeholders are not happy with some appointments to members of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA by the President, leaving out the core party members, but they have vowed to continue working hard for the party in the state.
