PPCP gains momentum as Ministry of Youth Development partners with Strong Africa Network to empower Anambra youths

Anambra PPCP policy gains momentum as Ministry of Youth Development partners with Strong Africa Network to empower selected youths.
Ministry of Youth Development will offer the 1Youth2Skills Platform for the Apprenticeship, Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives Formation and Mentorship Schemes while Strong Africa Network handles the Business Financing Scheme.

This is a model that ensures impacts and value for money, rather than giving funds to youths without follow up.

The Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Agha Mba used the occasion of Strong Africa Summit and Youth Empowerment to call on communities, cooperative bodies and individuals to follow the example of Strong Africa Network by taking advantage of the 1Youth2Skills Platform to empower youths in a well structured and systematic process, rather than giving out empowerment funds to the youths with little or no result to show for it.

He also thanked the youth friendly Governor of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR for initiating and supporting the 1Youth2Skills Programme, which has redesigned youth empowerment from immediate consumption to more of a more productive, innovative, exportive and impactful venture.
