The Mayor’s Club Honours their Far-famed Children
It was a wonderful time out there at Givenchy Hotel Amawbia where the end of the year party of the Mayors Club of Amawbia of Anambra State was held.

The Programme was not only to eat and drink but was use as an opportunity to honour their illustrious children, Hon. Prof. Lilian Obiageli Orogbu, a Member Representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency of Anambra State in the 10th National Assembly. Who was a Professor at her early age and also the Chairman, House of Representative Standing Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Rt. Hon Ozo Chukwuma Pius Okoye, the Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly.
Engr. (Nze) Chukwuma Ngini, the President of the Mayor’s Club Amawbia while speaking at the occasion acknowledge the fact that it was a dream come through. He said the group was form in order to effectively synergies and harmonize the human and capital resources to contribute to the accelerated development of Amawbia Town.

Also speaking at the event was Sir Jachike Nwankwo and Barr. Frank Ndibe, who are Vice President and Secretary of the Group respectively appreciated the awardees for just not coming in person to receive the awards but also for their good works and achievements not only in Amawbia but also in Anambra and Nigeria in general.
The Awardees Hon. Prof. Oby, who is also a Member Pan-African Parliarment and Rt Hon. Okoye who is also a member of the Mayors took turn to appreciate the group for their gesture and also promise to do more works for the people of Amawbia
