Youth Commissioner, APGA National Chairman, others felicitate with Archbishop Valerian Okeke on the 2025 Silver Jubilee Year Celebration & Holy Family Feast

The Commissioner for Youth Development Anambra State, Mr Patrick along side his wife joined the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, and his amiable wife, Mrs. Amara Ezeokenwa, The Mayor of Onitsha North LGA, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora and other dignitaries to felicitate with Archbishop Valerian Okeke and other Catholic faithfuls in a Holy Mass marking the beginning of the 2025 Jubilee Year celebration and Holy Family Feast.
Archbishop Valerian Okeke preached on the theme that talks about importance of oneness, love, and the spirit of forgiveness in the family as the church celebrated the Holy Family, consisting of Joseph, Mary, and their son, Jesus Christ.
The Archbishop spoke on the essence of thanksgiving and also highlighted the significance of Silver Jubilee, Golden Jubilee, and Centennial Celebrations in the Catholic Church.
He offered prayers for the country and the state, urging leaders and those with evil intentions to cease acts of kidnapping and violence across the nation.
The Jubilee Mass which was held at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity in Onitsha, was presided over by the Metropolitan Archbishop, His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Okeke.
A highlight of the event was the cutting of the jubilee cake.
Other Dignitaries that attended the mass included Sen. Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige, former Governor of Anambra State; National Assembly members Sen. Dr. Victor Umeh (Anambra Central) and his wife, Senator Tony Nwoye (Anambra North) Hon. Idu Emeka (Onitsha North/South Federal Constituency) Hon. Lilan Orogbu (Awka North/South Federal Constituency) Rt. Hon. Paschal Agbodike (Ihiala Federal Constituency) Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly,
Also in attendance are Chief Sir Okwy Maduekwe, Chairman of APGA in Onitsha North LGA, Hon. Shedrack Uwamaka Okafor, Hon. Chiejena Obieze, Hon. Tagbo Emodi, Hon. Mrs. Nkiru Ezediniru (Madam Black) Dr. Mrs. Vera Nwadinaobi, Prof. Fidelis Okafor, amongst others.
This joyous occasion served as a reminder of the virtues of love, hope, forgiveness, and gratitude.
