Falling Heros day serves as a poignant reminder of the cost of peace and the commitment to nation-building- Patrick Aghamba


The Commissioner for Youth Development of Anambra State, Mr Patrick Agha Mba applauded Mr Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR on his Commitment towards  Nation-Building. The Governor to out time from his busy schedule to Honour both falling and leaving Heroes in Nigeria.

Agha Mba disclose this at Ekwueme Square, venue of the event of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, an annually event observed every January 15th in Nigeria, to honor the bravery and sacrifices of military personnel who fought in defense of the nation.  The event also commemorates veterans of the World Wars, the Nigerian Civil War, and other peacekeeping missions. The occasion is marked by wreath-laying ceremonies, military parades, and prayers for fallen heroes. It serves as a poignant reminder of the cost of peace and the commitment to nation-building.

The Commissioner declares that Soludo’s commitment to the Nigerian Force is unprecedented, he stress with empathy for the falling heroes who left their love once behind making them a premature Widows, Widower and Orphans.

Agha Mba use that opportunity at Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration engaged Igwe Chimere-eze Nka 1 of Ogbunka and Engr. Dr. Martin Agbili, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youths Development in a significant meeting. They deliberated on the ongoing "1 Youth 2 Skills" program initiated by Mr Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Speaking with media Mr. Commissioner stated that the 1Youth 2skills initiative is aims to empower the youth by equipping them with skills for economic self-reliance, directly addressing crime, unemployment and poverty in line with Mr Governor’s vision of Job, Job, and Quality Job.
