You must show seriousness as you attend EDI Training by not Missing a class - Aghamba Warms 1Youth 2skills Trainees during EDI supervision

The Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Patrick Agha Mba commenced the inspection and monitoring of the EDIs in all centers across Anambra State in order to compliment the efforts of the project monitoring teams as well as the Strategy Execution and Evaluation Agency. 
The commissioner visited all centers in Awka South including the SDC, IDK, ITF, Renaissance Polytechnic and Unizik Business School for 1Youth 2skills 2 Phase of Entrepreneurship Scheme, reiterating Mr Governor’s commitment towards Human Capital Development, which is under the third pillar of Solution Administration. 

He used the opportunity to wish the Youth a Happy Valentine Day, reminding them that the best way to express love is by showing it to the less privileged and carrying them along; making sure they are useful and productive to themselves. He went further to check the online attendance report as well as the hard copies at each centers for accountability and transparency. 
He commended the EDIs for their proactiveness, level of preparedness and quality of lectures being delivered at their centre. He emphasized the need for quality assurance in order to maintain the already standards in the 1Youth 2Skills Initiative of Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, as the programme has become a point of reference in Nigeria. 

Mr Commissioner also reminded trainees that he will be coming unannounced and no excuse will be tolerated. He promised them that Soludo Administration will invest heavily as usual in supporting them for business start up and expansion, however that only those with high sense of seriousness will be financially empowered after the Entrepreneurship Scheme. 
He commended UNIZIK Business and Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University for showing high level of competence, commitment and credibility in managing the 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme. 

The commissioner urged all supervisors, volunteers and concerned stake holders to take charge and ensure that the EDIs provide quality training to the beneficiaries.
