Commissioner for Youth Development Continues His Unannounced Visits To 7 EDI Centers In 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme
Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Patrick Agha Mba took centers by surprise as he continues his monitoring exercise in the Second Phase of the 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme.
Among the centers visited were the Onitsha North LGA Secretariat, OLEC Imeobi Onitsha, Beatrice Onyemelukwe Institute, Onitsha South LGA Secretariat, Unizik Business School, Idemili North LGA Secretariat, Idemili South LGA Secretariat, amongst others.
The beneficiaries were delighted as Mr Commissioner congratulated them and urged them to maintain dedication and discipline. He expressed gratitude to Mr Governor, Prof Charles Soludo CFR, for being a youth friendly Governor, who is passionate and has great plans for the youths in all sectors of the State. He also appreciated the Unizik Business School for the standard of lectures being given to the beneficiaries and urged it to keep it up. He reminded the beneficiaries that he will keep visiting unannounced and warned them never to miss a class to avoid being removed from the programme.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their excitement with the quality of the courses given to them and promised to make the best of the opportunity.
