The Federal Government of Nigeria has rated the Nigerian Police Force, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as the three worst amongst fellow Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in complaints resolution.
This is contained in an information displayed on the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) website designed for complaints resolution.
In the Ministries, Departments and Agencies scorecard, PEBEC rated the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) among the top three MDAs for the month of January 2020.
The agency, however, rated the Police, FIRS, and CAC bottom three MDAs in January 2020.
How it works
The complaint on the PEBEC website goes through three steps:
- Step 1: The complaint goes to Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
- Step 2: PEBEC assigns the complaint to the MDA (if unresolved in a given time, PEBEC finds out why).
- Step 3: Complainant get an email that one’s complaint has been submitted.
After taking cognizance of the steps and resolved complaint, the Presidency adjudged Police, FIRS, and CAC as the worst performing agencies.
